My Kilometres for Kids challenge is dedicated to the honour of my son, Emerick Meister

I’m taking on an epic challenge this March – and I would love support.

I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge, Kilometres for Kids, to help keep Starship’s National Air Ambulance flying to children across the country who are critically ill or injured.

My family and I have been on a Rollercoaster of a ride for the past year dealing with the diagnosis of our youngest boy falling ill to severe aplastic anaemia. A journey that is by no means over. Without the help and support from Christchirch children's hospital, Kowhai ward at Wellington and Starship in Auckland we wouldn't be looking towards the future now. The flight team who we traveled with a few times are a critical part of this process and I want to give something back, however small it is to these amazing people! No one should have to go through what we and many other families have too but with the help of these wonderful people it makes it easier... I will always be thankful for what you do and continue to do to save lives ❤️
