I’m taking on an epic challenge this March – and I would love support.

I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge, Kilometres for Kids, to help keep Starship’s National Air Ambulance flying to children across the country who are critically ill or injured.

If you can, please donate to help me raise money for this incredible service, the only flying Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Aotearoa. It’s on call 24/7 – and a specialist flight crew can be in the air in a matter of minutes.

Day Thirty One 31/03

Tuesday 31st Mar
My last day. Today I went for three walks, one with Jed, one with the Pack and one with my dogs. which brought my total Km's to 112.1km. I have also managed to fundraise $1048. I am so proud that I achieved both of the goals that I set myself and I will be forever grateful to everyone who has supported me along the way, from going on walks with me, to watching my daily posts and for all that have donated I am so proud of myself and I am proud of everyone who has gone on this journey with me!!

Tuesday 31st Mar
My second last day in my challenge. I went on a very short walk with the dogs after work!!

Day Twenty Nine 29/03

Tuesday 31st Mar
today I hit $1000, and I also hit 100km!! I'm super proud of myself and I still have two days to go

Day Twenty Eight 28/03

Tuesday 31st Mar
Today I went for a nice walk with the dogs up Taieri Rd. I am only $50 away from my fundraising target

Friday 27th Mar
We Braved the wind today and went to the park, thankfully the rain stopped the sun came out and it turned out to be a pretty good walk (exept for the wind)!!

Friday 27th Mar
Today I braved the horrible weather and took the dogs on a walk. you would think it would be a fast walk but no the dogs decided to walk as slow as the possibly could!!!

Wednesday 25th Mar
Today I took the dogs on a nice walk around the neighbour hood we also went to the park when they could run around and go crazy. I can't believe I am 10km away from 100km!! I will keep trying to get to 120km but we shall see what the next 6 days brings us

Tuesday 24th Mar
Day 24, my new goal is going to be to get to 100km. If I reach that then I’ll try to get to 120km so I hope I’ll get one of these. Thanks all who have donated I am now super close to my goal 

Day twenty three 23/03

Tuesday 24th Mar
Today I hit my goal of 85km. I will keep walking I am now hoping to get too 100km!! I am also $80 off my money goal!! I also received my medal today

Tuesday 24th Mar
took the dogs to balmac again and went for a walk around the area with Alex and Hannah. I am 5km away from my goal

Tuesday 24th Mar
Took the dogs to the forestry for an off lead walk, they really enjoyed it, we did indeed go through some muddy puddles

Tuesday 24th Mar
Day 20, very short walk today due to being at block course, but I did take the dogs to balmac for a run. 10km til i hit my goal 


Day nineteen 19/03

Thursday 19th Mar
Day 19!! Thanks to all that donated today especially Amanda Cookson with the generous donation. I am super close to my $$$ goal and I’m slowly getting closer to my 85km goal!!

Wednesday 18th Mar
today I went on two walks with the dogs, I did two because I was at block course so needed to keep them tired for the day. im super happy i am now at 70km!!

Day Seventeen 17/03

Tuesday 17th Mar
Day 17, I went on two walks today, one with Jed and the other with the pack!! I did a total of 6.7km today. Lovely weather so made the walks much more enjoyable!! 

Day Sixteen 16/03

Monday 16th Mar
Day 16 I am officially half way!!! I am at 60km and I have so far raised $692!!! I went on a short walk today of 2.1km. Thank you to all that have donated I greatly appreciate it

Day Fifteen 15/03

Monday 16th Mar
Went on a lovely family walk this evening. (may or may not have gone to the dairy lol) we did a nice 2.8km walk. I'm super happy with how my progress is going and I also recived some merch!!!

Day Fourteen 14/03

Saturday 14th Mar
This morning I went on a beautiful walk around ross creek. we did a good loop and walked 5.2km. I had Mum walking with me and a special guest Angela!! it was a fab walk and the dogs and I enjoyed it!!!

Day Thirteen 13/03

Friday 13th Mar
Today I took the dogs to peter Jhonson park for a walk, they were lucky enough to be off lead for basically the whole time. however we did get rained on twice so we did in fact run to reach the trees to stay somewhat dry!! so today I walked 2.9km.


Day Twelve 12/03

Thursday 12th Mar
Today I went for a nice short walk to the park where I let the dogs go off lead and run around. we walked 1.85km today so yes very short!! I will be sure to walk further tomorrow. 

Day Eleven 11/03

Wednesday 11th Mar
went on a nice walk down the Marina with the dogs today. was nice to be in the sun but the wind was a bit average. I walked 3km with them!!

Day Ten 10/03

Tuesday 10th Mar
Day 10 done and dusted, I walked 6.6km today. One walk with Jed and the other with the pack!! Thanks to all that have donated!!!

Missed day 8 due to the crappy rain but went on a nice walk with the dogs!! 

Day Seven 07/03

Sunday 8th Mar
One week into kilometer for kids. Only a short walk again due the heat, but I hit 30km today so that is amazing progress and i'm super proud of myself!!!

Day six 06/03

Friday 6th Mar
Day 6: only one walk today due to it being incredibly hot and I didn’t feel like melting today. I did a nice 2.5km walk with the dogs!

Day Five 05/03

Friday 6th Mar
Day 5. Another two walks done and dusted, today's total was 5.3km. Nice warm day today so all the walks were a lot shorter 

Day Four 04/03

Wednesday 4th Mar
Today I went on another two walks on big walk with the pack and one small walk with my dogs. so today I have done 5.5km total. I am super proud of my progress so far, I have done 19.8km out of 85km, so 65.2km to go!!!! 

Day Three - 03/03

Tuesday 3rd Mar
Today I went on two walks again I took Jed my friends dog on a 3.1km walk and then I went out with a dog walker and we walked the pack 3.2km. so a total of 6.3km. I have now completed 14.2km out of my 85km journey!!!!

Day two done and dusted. Today I went on two different walks, so a total of 5.5km overall to add to my 85km total.

Went on a very short walk due to the weather, but so far I am enjoying the challenge!!
