Walking for Starship raising money for Starship Air Ambulance

I'm taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help keep the Starship Air Ambulance flying and to help save the lives of sick and injured children all over Aotearoa.
Working in the front line as a nurse I have seen the effect and impact of an unwell child have on their family friends and support. The air ambulance is there to help the extremely vulnerable get the help they need. Therefore support and caring each individual child, parents, siblings, and extended family and wider support. Without the air ambulance so many vulnerable children would not be able to receive the medical care and attention they need. As both a mum, an aunty and a support person to many others I hope to never have to use this service but want to ensure it keeps going incase the unimaginable happens.
The Starship National Air Ambulance is New Zealand's only flying Paediatric Intensive Care Unit. It's on call 24/7. A specialist paediatric flight crew can be in the air in a matter of minutes.
I'll be giving it my all this March to help keep the Starship National Air Ambulance flying 24/7. Any donation towards my KM for kids will be greatly appreciated by both myself and Startship.
Donate now to help save the lives of Kiwi kids.
