My Kilometres for Kids challenge is dedicated to the celebration of my friend, All the kids with tracheostomies around NZ 😎

I’m taking on an epic challenge this March – and I would love support.

I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge, Kilometres for Kids, to help keep Starship’s National Air Ambulance flying to children across the country who are critically ill or injured.

If you can, please donate to help me raise money for this incredible service, the only flying Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Aotearoa. It’s on call 24/7 – and a specialist flight crew can be in the air in a matter of minutes.

170km walked/run and $3841 raised. Massive thanks to everyone who has so generously donated both money and support 🙏🏻 Bodie is also extremely grateful as his walks increased tenfold 😎

As promised, couch potato to 5km run in just under 4 weeks. For our kids, the starship flight team and to get myself moving again. Thanks for all the support and donations it’s been amazing 🤩

Farm walk

Sunday 22nd Mar
Challenge today was to walk until Bodie stopped. 2.5 hours up and down hills through long grass and hidden foot traps in gum boots before he finally stopped 😎 21km to go and a 5 km run, almost there with 7 days to go. Thanks everyone for you ongoing support ♥️

Doing this for our kids with airway problems that rely on the PICU flight team to transfer them to Starship. Any time I find this hard I dig deep and remember this is easy compared to the challenges they overcome daily. $1840 raised, trying to get to $2000

Waitakere walk

Sunday 15th Mar
Walking for our kids with airway issues who need transfers to Starship for surgery or PICU care, with 11km of walking today I’ve hit the 100 km mark :)

Painting given to me as I did my kilometres for kids 8 km walk home yesterday. Little girl who spent time in Starship with a broken leg ⭐️

It’s amazing how many people I have met and Starship stories I have had the privilege of hearing as I’ve done these walks, loving them 🌟

Smashed past the 85km mark now extended to 150 km and aiming for a 5 km run by the end of the month :) Doing this for all the airway kids who need our Starship air ambulance service around NZ ♥️
