My Kilometres for Kids challenge is dedicated to the memory of my daughter, Amber Ngarohi Mãkere

We are walking in memory of Amber to support the vital life saving Air Ambulance

I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge, Kilometres for Kids, to help keep Starship’s National Air Ambulance flying to children across the country who are critically ill or injured.

If you can, please donate to help me raise money for this incredible service, the only flying Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Aotearoa. It’s on call 24/7 – and a specialist flight crew can be in the air in a matter of minutes.

15 years Ago our beautiful pepi Amber was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect.. We journeyed with her on the Air Ambulance to starship only hours after finding out! They were an a amazing who took such good care of us all & made Amber's trip up as comfortably and safe as possible. We will be forever grateful for their mahi, manaakitanga & aroha
