Cypress

My Kilometres for Kids challenge is dedicated to the honour of my son, Cypress

I’m taking on an epic challenge this March – and I would love support.

I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge, Kilometres for Kids, to help keep Starship’s National Air Ambulance flying to children across the country who are critically ill or injured.

If you can, please donate to help me raise money for this incredible service, the only flying Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Aotearoa. It’s on call 24/7 – and a specialist flight crew can be in the air in a matter of minutes.

Donate now to help save the lives of Kiwi kids.

My Updates

Cypress my why for taking on this challenge

Sunday 15th Mar
Kia Ora After recently loosing my boyy Cypress at the start of March I was left w so much energy and thoughts that I turned into a positive outlet which was running . Which I quickly started enjoying the tired body and mind left no room for silly thoughts .
I then stumbled across the starship Kilometers for kids it only seemed right to give me abit of direction and a bigger purpose or goal.
I seen the 120km and $1000 goal thinking this would be a difficult task as 5km was my average run to do this in a month seemed un reachable but still I wanted to.push myself for my boyy because all he wanted to do was go for a run and he was just out of fight so I still feel all the same emotions from grieving but I use that as my fuel to push through an break down what I thought was un attainable.  Mind set is a powerful thing .
Will always be my why and thats the last lesson he gave me .
