Azaiah

My Kilometres for Kids challenge is dedicated to the honour of my son, Azaiah

I’m taking on an epic challenge this March – and I would love support.

In honour of my son Azaiah I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge, Kilometres for Kids, to help keep Starship’s National Air Ambulance flying to children across the country who are critically ill or injured. This kaupapa is so important to my whanau and I. If you know our story you know our son was admitted to Wellington NICU shortly after birth and as a result of that we needed and relied on resources like 24/7 flights crews and air ambulances. This is a small way I can start to give back and honour tamariki and pepi across the country like my boy!

If you can, please donate to help me raise money for this incredible service, the only flying Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Aotearoa. It’s on call 24/7 – and a specialist flight crew can be in the air in a matter of minutes.

All kohas are appreciated!
