I’m taking on an epic challenge this March – and I would love support.

At the start of this year, our boy Jahjah spent over a week in Starship Hospital. It was one of the hardest times our whānau has ever faced.

While we were there, the amount of helicopters flying in and out every single day was overwhelming. Each one carrying someone’s pēpi, someone’s baby, someone’s whole world. It really hit me how easily that could be us again one day.

So before I finish my own fitness challenge, I thought why not turn it into something bigger than myself.

I’m taking on a month-long challenge called Kilometres for Kids, walking 120 km to help raise money for Starship’s National Air Ambulance. This incredible service keeps the only flying Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Aotearoa in the air, helping critically ill and injured tamariki across the motu.

They are on call 24/7, and their specialist crew can be in the air within minutes to help save lives.

If you’re in a position to, I would be so grateful for your support. Every donation helps keep this life-saving service flying and helps protect our precious tamariki.

Ngā mihi nui from our whānau ❤️
