Making Time, Making a Difference: My 500km Challenge
This month, I’m taking on a 500km cycling challenge as part of Kilometres for Kids to raise vital funds for Starship’s National Air Ambulance — a service that saves the lives of critically ill and injured children across Aotearoa.
Every kilometre I ride is in support of this incredible, lifesaving service. Starship’s National Air Ambulance is the only flying Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in New Zealand, operating 24/7 with a specialist medical flight crew ready to be airborne within minutes when a child needs urgent care.
As a mum of two, this cause is incredibly close to my heart. No family ever expects to need an air ambulance — but when they do, having this service available can mean the difference between life and death.
I’m asking for your support to help keep this essential service in the air. Every donation, big or small, directly helps save young lives and support families at their most critical moments.
👉 Please donate today and help me turn 500km into lifesaving impact for Kiwi kids.
