My Kilometres for Kids challenge is dedicated to the memory of my loved one, Nina Trishkina
Running for a reason this March
I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge, Kilometres for Kids, to support Starship’s National Air Ambulance, helping critically ill or injured children get the urgent care they need, wherever they are in the country.
This challenge is also deeply personal for me. I’m running 120km in March in memory of my mum, who dedicated her life to caring for children and family with endless patience and love.
Running gives me a physical way to carry love that has nowhere else to go, and every kilometre is for her.
