We’re taking on an epic challenge this March

We’re taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help keep the Starship Air Ambulance flying and to help save the lives of sick and injured children all over Aotearoa.

Together as a school teaching team we are going to run, walk, or bike (completed biked distance halved) with the goal of 1000kms in the month of March for Starship kids. While we will be motivated by our own health gains and team morale, ultimately every km will be strong for the kids.

While our kms fly high, we think of the Starship National Air Ambulance. Tamariki from our own kura have this service to thank for their life. It is New Zealand’s only flying Paediatric Intensive Care Unit. It’s on call 24/7. A full crew can be in the air in a matter of minutes. This is often the only way a seriously ill or injured can get to a major hospital in time. That’s why we’ll be giving it our all this March to help keep the Starship National Air Ambulance flying 24/7.

Can you support us and Starship Air Ambulance by making a donation? Any donation counts!
