Evaya-Jay

My Kilometres for Kids challenge is dedicated to the celebration of my niece, Evaya-Jay

I’m taking on an epic challenge this March – and I would love support.

I'm taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help keep the Starship Air Ambulance flying and to help save the lives of sick and injured children all over Aotearoa.

Starship hospital provides a wide variety of treatment such as, chemotherapy, NICU therapy, cardiac and mental services, as well as life saving surgeries. They also offer wrap around support for whānau during desperate and hard  times; such as the Ronald McDonald house.

The Starship National Air Ambulance is New Zealand's only flying Paediatric Intensive Care Unit. It's on call 24/7. A specialist paediatric flight crew can be in the air in a matter of minutes. This is often the only way a seriously ill or injured can get to Starship. But they're counting on your support. That's why I'll be giving it my all this March to help keep the Starship National Air Ambulance flying 24/7.
