Compassion in Action: Wentworth College Supports Starship
This March, Wentworth College is proud to be taking on a month-long fitness challenge to raise $1,000 in support of the Starship Foundation.
Our efforts will help keep the Starship National Air Ambulance flying 24/7. As New Zealand’s only flying Paediatric Intensive Care Unit, this vital service can have a specialist flight crew in the air within minutes. For many critically ill or injured children across Aotearoa, it is the only way they can reach the urgent care they need.
This initiative strongly reflects the Wentworth values — service, resilience, compassion, and striving for excellence. As a school community, we believe in stepping forward when others need help, and in using our strengths to make a meaningful difference.
Throughout March, our students and staff will be giving their best to support this life-saving service. We invite you to join us by making a donation and helping us reach — and exceed — our $1,000 goal.
Together, we can help ensure this essential service continues to save the lives of Kiwi children when it matters most.
