Families and my dad

My Kilometres for Kids challenge is dedicated to the celebration of my loved one, Families and my dad

I’m taking on an epic challenge this March – and I would love support.

I’m taking on a 85km walking challenge this March to raise funds for Starship Children’s Hospital and to honour the nurses and doctors who work tirelessly caring for our tamariki and their whānau.

I’m doing this challenge out of deep appreciation for healthcare workers across Aotearoa, and in recognition of the incredible work they do every day under immense pressure. Healthcare staff show up with compassion, skill, and dedication during people’s hardest moments, and their impact on families is immeasurable.

This challenge is also personal to me. After losing my dad following a bike accident while under hospital care in Wellington, I’ve seen firsthand the commitment and emotional weight carried by healthcare workers. This walk is my way of giving back and saying thank you.
