My Kilometres for Kids challenge is dedicated to the celebration of my niece, Tyler Jade Satele / Our Boo!!
I’m taking on an epic challenge this March – and I would love support.
Kiaora rā e te whānau.
He wero nui tēnei hei hiki mā mātau ko taku whānau.
I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge, Kilometres for Kids, to help keep Starship’s National Air Ambulance flying to children across the country who are critically ill or injured. I have no personal experience with our starship hospital services but I have seen, heard and felt the weight of it through a lot of our whānau.
Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is the only flying service here in Aotearoa. It’s on call 24/7 – and a specialist flight crew can be in the air in a matter of minutes.
If you can spare a dollar or 2 tēnā, tuku mai ki te kaupapa nei hei hiki anō i te taumaha mo a tātau nei tamariki mokopuna me ā rātau whānau OR join me as I hikoi 200kms this month to raise awareness.
