My Kilometres for Kids challenge is dedicated to the celebration of my grandchild, Phoenix Raukura Tetai-Rosieur
I’m taking on an epic challenge this March – and I would love support.
My mokopuna, Phoenix Ruakura is a little Starship pepi – curious, cheeky, and full of life. Watching her grow reminds me just how precious every child is, and why this kaupapa is so important to me.
I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge – Kilometres for Kids – to help keep Starship’s National Air Ambulance flying to Kiwi children who are critically ill or injured. It’s the only flying Paediatric Intensive Care Unit in Aotearoa, ready 24/7 to save lives when whānau need it most.
I know times are tough and a lot of whānau are struggling, so even if you can’t donate, I want to say thank you for taking the time to read my korero e te whānau. If you are able to, any donation at all helps keep this vital service running for our tamariki and their families.
