My Kilometres for Kids challenge is dedicated to the memory of my sibling, Lea Lander
Running with Love, Running with Purpose
In memory of my dear sister Lea Lander, who lost her battle with cancer in 2015, I will be participating in Kilometres for Kids. This challenge is deeply personal to me, and every kilometre I run is dedicated to her strength, courage, and the love she gave so freely. During her years of treatment, Starship Foundation supported my sister and our family when we needed it most.
I’ll be running/walking 120km during the month of March to raise funds to help keep Starship’s National Air Ambulance flying to critically ill and injured children across Aotearoa — the country’s only flying Paediatric Intensive Care Unit, operating 24/7.
If you’re able to donate, no matter the amount, you’ll be supporting this life-saving service and helping me honour my sister’s memory by giving hope to other families.
♡ From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support ♡
