This March I’m taking on the Starship Kilometre Fundraiser.

In 2016 and again in 2019, two of our boys were flown to Starship during some really testing times for our whānau. Both were scary and uncertain moments as parents, but thanks to the incredible doctors, nurses, and staff at Starship, our boys came out healthy.

Starship didn’t just care for our children they cared for our whole whānau too, even helping with accommodation while we were away from home.

This is our way of giving back. Every kilometre we move this month is for the team who showed up for us when we needed them most, and for the kids and families who will need them next.
