My Kilometres for Kids challenge is dedicated to the honour of my loved one, James Evans
Running 120 Kilometres for Kids.
Kia ora,
I’m Andrew Evans, and this year I’m taking part in Kilometres for Kids in honour of my dad, who recently passed away. He was a truly selfless man who devoted so much of his time and energy to his community, especially the youth.
He volunteered as a catechism teacher for the children at church, coached multiple youth sports teams, and was an incredible father to his own kids.
To honour his legacy of generosity and care, I’ll be running 120 km in March as part of the Starship Foundation's Kilometres for kids event. Funds raised will support the Starship Foundation, which provides vital care and life‑changing support for children and their families across Aotearoa.
By donating, you’re not just supporting me; you’re helping continue the kindness, support, and opportunities for children that my dad always believed in.
Ka nui te mihi!
