My Kilometres for Kids challenge is dedicated to the honour of my son, Kyren
I’m taking on an epic challenge this March – and I would love support.
I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge, Kilometres for Kids, to help keep Starship’s National Air Ambulance flying to children across the country who are critically ill or injured.
If you can, please donate to help me raise money for this incredible service, the only flying Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Aotearoa. It’s on call 24/7 – and a specialist flight crew can be in the air in a matter of minutes.
Donate now to help save the lives of Kiwi kids.
Kyren was very fortunate he didnt need to be taken to another hospital however in the 4 weeks he spent in nicu I watched the PICU/NICU flight crew work endless hours non stop stabilizing the tiniest wee bodies for flight. Most bubs left in the fastest blur of wires and machines. 3 beautiful souls didnt get to become a blur and seeing the way the crew all cried made me realize how difficult their jobs truly are. 💔
Ill never forget the harsh reality of their job, they are true angels and need as much support as possible 💜
