My Kilometres for Kids challenge is dedicated to the honour of my niece, Minora
Honouring Minora
Kia Ora taaatou,
I have joined my partners team in honor of her 5 year old niece - Minora who has been in and out of Starship Hospital.
Minora was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in 2024. Three months ago, Minora underwent a bone marrow transplant and she is now home with her whaanau however, she still has a long road ahead.
Minora has been very brave and wears the most beautiful smile as you can see in her photo. Her whaanau have been through it all and we are taking on this challenge to support them all as well as the awesome mahi Starship does.
Whaanau we appreciate any koha you can make to this cause. Your koha will help the hospital continue their amazing services that have helped many kids like this beautiful girl, Minora.
