My Kilometres for Kids challenge is dedicated to the honour of my son, Xzavier
I’m taking on an epic challenge this March – and I would love support.
This March, I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge that is incredibly close to my heart. My beautiful son lives with Prader-Willi Syndrome, and Starship has become like his second home. The care, compassion, and expertise we’ve received from the team at Starship mean more to our whānau than words can ever express. When your child needs specialist care, nothing else matters except getting them the help they need, fast!
That’s why I’m fundraising to help keep the Starship National Air Ambulance flying 24/7.
The Starship National Air Ambulance is New Zealand’s only flying Paediatric Intensive Care Unit. A specialist paediatric flight crew can be in the air within minutes, often providing the only way for seriously ill or injured children to reach Starship in time. For families like ours, that service is lifesaving.
Starship has been there for my son. Now I want to be there for them.
I’ll be giving this challenge everything I’ve got to help keep the Starship Air Ambulance in the sky, ready to save the lives of children all over Aotearoa.
If you can, please consider donating and helping me take this fundraiser sky high. Every contribution makes a difference for our precious Kiwi kids.
Thank you for supporting something that means so much to our family 🤍
