My Kilometres for Kids challenge is dedicated to the memory of my son, Ezekiel Tautai Toa George-Vaeono
For our Iron Man, For Ezekiel 🤎
In March, our family will be taking part in Kilometres for Kids in support of Starship Children’s Hospital — a place that will forever hold a piece of our hearts.
We are moving in honour and in memory of our brave boy, Ezekiel, our Iron Man. During his time here, Starship became more than just a hospital. It was where doctors, nurses, and staff fought alongside us, cared for our son with such tenderness, and supported our family through the hardest days of our lives.
This event is our way of saying thank you. Thank you for the lifesaving work they do every single day. Thank you for the love they show families walking these journeys. And thank you for continuing to give hope to children who need it most.
Every kilometre we complete is for Ezekiel. For his strength. For his courage. For the light he brought into our lives in his short but powerful time here on Earth.
We’re doing this so other families can receive the same care, compassion, and support that meant the world to us.
If you’re able to donate, share, or cheer us on, we would be so grateful. Together we can help Starship continue to be a place of healing, hope, and miracles for our babies.
For our Iron Man. For Ezekiel. 🤍
