Matene

My Kilometres for Kids challenge is dedicated to the honour of my nephew, Matene

I’m taking on an epic challenge this March – and I would love support.

I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge, Kilometres for Kids, to help keep Starship’s National Air Ambulance flying to children across the country who are critically ill or injured.

If you can, please donate to help me raise money for this incredible service, the only flying Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Aotearoa. It’s on call 24/7 – and a specialist flight crew can be in the air in a matter of minutes.

Donate now to help save the lives of Kiwi kids.

Wednesday 4th Mar
Sent it from the Shelford whānau, a challenge not for the faint hearted, if your looking to create some good habits this month here's a good start!! 🏇🤝🫡

📢 Kia ora whānau, as many of you know, there's a wonderful wero out there bank one for Marts, which is a meke azzzzzz kaupapa… so we, the Spark-Shelford whānau, thought, why not saddle up and  join the journey and create our own whānau wero for our Neff Mart. We all know how much he loved working on the farm, riding horses, and playing sports like rugby, rugby league, basketball, and many others that kept him active. Some of you might have seen him out and about, putting in the miles with his pāpa and cuzies, logging kms on the road. Our wero, starting on Sunday, March 1st, aims to run or walk 100kms throughout March for Mart. We'll be sharing daily videos so Neff can see we're thinking of him and hoping this brings a smile to his face and lifts his spirits. Anyone can join in and be part of this special journey for the neff just post up and send your daily achievements to the bro matua/jords or our koka/aro’s
