Walking with gratitude. Maybe ill try running too 😆

This month I am taking on Kilometres for Kids to support Starship’s National Air Ambulance, and this one really matters to me.

My own son spent time in PICU. We did not need to fly, but the speed at which Starship responded, and the care he received once he got there, is the reason he is here today. When everything feels urgent and terrifying, having a team like that ready, calm, and exceptional makes all the difference.

Starship’s National Air Ambulance is the only flying Paediatric Intensive Care Unit in Aotearoa. It is on call 24 hours a day, getting critically ill or injured children to the care they need, fast. Knowing that service exists is something you never really think about until you are suddenly a parent who needs it.

Supporting Starship means supporting every child and every family who finds themselves in that moment. It means backing the doctors, nurses, and crews who show up when seconds matter.

If you are able to donate, I would be so grateful.
