I’m taking on a challenge to raise money for the Starship Air Ambulance and I would love support.

This March, I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge, Kilometres for Kids, to help keep Starship’s National Air Ambulance flying for the children who need it most.

When a child in Aotearoa is critically ill or seriously injured, every second matters. For some families, the only way to get their child to urgent specialist care is by air. Starship’s National Air Ambulance is the country’s only flying Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) — on call 24/7, ready to lift off within minutes with a highly skilled medical team on board.

Behind every flight is a scared child, an anxious family, and a race against time.

My goal is to raise $500 this March. Every kilometre I walk represents a child who needs urgent care, a family holding their breath, and a crew ready to save a life.
