My Kilometres for Kids challenge is dedicated to the honour of my son, Felix Bourton

100km for Starship 🤍

This March, I’m taking on Kilometres for Kids for Starship 🤍
Our son Felix spent 7 months in hospital, where he underwent multiple open-heart surgeries and received lifesaving care.
This month, I’ll be running and walking 100km to help give back to the place that gave our boy the chance to come home.
Starship cares for children across Aotearoa when they need it most. Their National Air Ambulance is the only flying Paediatric Intensive Care Unit in the country, with specialist teams ready to reach critically ill and injured children wherever they are.
I’m taking on this challenge to help keep this incredible service flying and supporting families when they need it most.
If you would like to donate, thank you for helping Starship continue to save the lives of Kiwi kids.
Tammy 🤍

My Updates

Reason #2 to support Starship 🤍

Tuesday 3rd Mar
When Felix was in PICU, there were many days he wasn’t stable enough for cuddles with Liam or me, but the nurses always made sure Macy could cuddle him.
She was such a special support for him, and it was so special to see their bond.

Reason #1 to support Starship 🤍

Sunday 1st Mar
So grateful for the incredible Starship team who gave Felix the specialised care he needed to become strong enough to come home 🏡
