I’m taking on an epic challenge this March – and I would love support.
I’ve recently started running again, and it’s reminded me how lucky I am to be able to move my body, get outside, and just run for the joy of it.
This March, my best friend Karis and I are taking on a month-long fitness challenge for Kilometres for Kids, running to support Starship and the Starship National Air Ambulance.
So many children don’t get the chance to do the simple things we often take for granted — playing, running, laughing, and just being kids — because instead they’re facing serious illness and injury. No child should ever have to go through that.
Every kilometre we run is for the kids who can’t. For the families going through the unimaginable. And to help give these kids the best possible chance at a happy, healthy future.
Starship cares for critically ill children from all over Aotearoa, and the Starship National Air Ambulance is on call 24/7, able to take off within minutes. It’s New Zealand’s only flying Paediatric Intensive Care Unit, and it saves lives every day.
Your support helps fund the tools, training, and technology that make this care possible:
💛 $30 could fund a Buzzy Bee to reduce fear during procedures
💛 $50 could help fund a Play Specialist who brings comfort and understanding
💛 $500 could help equip Starship with advanced medical technology
💛 $4,100 could help train specialist paediatric nurses
If you’re able to donate, we’d be so grateful. Every dollar truly makes a difference for Kiwi kids and helps keep this life-saving service flying ✨
Thank you so much for your support 🩵
