Running for those who can’t
Running has been a part of my life since I was a kid. I used to do cross country, and I loved it — the freedom, the joy of moving, and the feeling of being able to just be a child.
It breaks my heart knowing that so many children are being robbed of those same simple moments. Moments of play, laughter, and doing the things they love, because instead they’re fighting battles no child should ever have to face.
This March, my best friend Charli and I are running for them. Every kilometre is for the children who can’t run, who can’t play, and who deserve the chance to grow up with the same joy and freedom we were so lucky to have.
We stand with these brave children and their families, as one. They deserve hope, support, and above all, a childhood.
