Koa Oke Yoshinari Sciascia

My Kilometres for Kids challenge is dedicated to the honour of my son, Koa Oke Yoshinari Sciascia

In loving memory of Koa: Give children the chance to grow up

I am taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help keep the Starship Air Ambulance flying and to help save the lives of sick and injured children all over Aotearoa.

My son, Koa, sadly passed away last year. His heart condition was severe, and unfortunately, we were not able to give him the chance to grow up. If you are reading this, you have had that chance. There are some children out there, like Koa, who did not.

The Starship Air Ambulance increases the chances of survival for seriously ill children.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could donate to this cause. Any amount, large or small, would mean a lot. Please help spread the word too.

In loving memory of Koa.
